Garrow’s Law
This BBC series, with stories based on actual
cases from the Old Bailey archives, was an
extraordinary success. Nick guested in one
episode, playing John Julius Angerstein - an
eighteenth century press baron with a special
interest in protecting attractive young women.
The Wolfman
The Universal Pictures re-make of this classic
horror movie was filmed over 2008-9. It starred
Anthony Hopkins, Benicio del Toro and Emily
Blunt and was released early in 2010. Nick
played Colonel Montford whose determination
to help entrap the werewolf led to his grisly
death in a swamp.
The Iceman Cometh
This extraordinary production starred Kevin
Spacey. It was playing at the the Almeida and
subsequently transferring the show to the Old
Vic that led to Kevin’s determination to stay
here and become a major player in Britain’s
theatrical scene. Nick played the old Boer War
campaigner, Piet Wetjohn.
